Free Fall Events and Programs

We invite you to join us for these upcoming Fall special events and programs. As we get closer to the season, more opportunities will be added.

Parks and Trails: Canton has 10 public parks and over 15 miles of trails that are free and open to the public daily 6 am-10 pm. 

Annual Veterans' Summit: Hosted by the Canton Community Foundation, the annual Veterans’ Summit, hosted every September, brings experts together with veterans in need of understanding the benefits for which they may be eligible through Veterans Affairs. Our goal is to help educate our local veterans about the benefits that are available and how to apply for them. The event is free for veterans and their caregivers. This is a free event for veterans and their family members, however registration is required. 

Do Good Expo-National Day of Service: Join us for a day of service and learn about local organizations that utilize volunteers to support the community. More details coming soon!

Scholarship Information

Canton Leisure Services wants to ensure that all Canton residents have the opportunity to participate in its' classes, programs, facilities or events. If you are interested in taking part in an offering that requires fees or charges and you need financial assistance, scholarships are available. If you see a program in the current Discover Brochure that you'd like to attend, but is financially out of your reach, please contact Recreation Supervisor, Jennifer Provenzano at Jennifer Provenzano email or 734/394-5360 to learn more about potential scholarship and outreach opportunities. 

Did You Know?

Did you know that kids can register for the summer Canton Activity Crew (C.A.C.) program and take part in a supervised playground program for 5 fun-filled days a week for only $0.87 a day! Learn more at Summer Camps.
